Dex Enterprise is the paid, organization-wide Dex workflow for analytics engineering. Exmergo Enterprise is the broader platform that brings Dex, Ace, and Viz together across analytics engineering and data consumption. They are distinct offerings, and both are priced by conversation with our team.

How many semantic layers can I connect to Viz?

Viz connects to dbt Semantic Layer. Pro includes 1 semantic layer per account. Ultra includes unlimited semantic layers per account, and Enterprise inherits this allowance. These account-level limits do not change the per-user licensing of Pro and Ultra. CSV and Excel uploads remain available on every plan.

Is there a free trial for Viz plans?

Yes. Viz Pro and Ultra include a 14-day free trial. A valid credit card is required at signup through Stripe, but you won't be charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel at any time before then. The trial applies to Viz; Dex is free and open source and needs no trial.

Do I need a credit card to start a Viz plan?

Yes. Signing up for a Viz plan, including the 14-day free trial, requires a valid credit card through Stripe Checkout. There is no free tier and no card-free trial option. Dex is free and open source, so it needs neither.

Can I switch Viz plans at any time?

Accepted Answer

You can manage upgrades, downgrades, and cancellation in your account settings. If your usage exceeds a lower plan’s limits, you may need to reduce usage before downgrading. Cancelling a paid subscription takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Cancelling a free trial returns your account to its inactive state. Inactive accounts retain existing data and dashboards, but access requires reactivating a paid plan. See the Terms of Service for details.

What happens when I run out of daily AI credits?

Daily AI credits reset every 24 hours at 00:00 UTC. If you hit your limit, you can wait for the reset or upgrade to a plan with more credits. Your dashboards and data remain fully accessible.

Annual billing gives you a 16% discount compared to monthly. You pay once per year upfront, and can switch to annual billing at any time from your account.

Yes. Ace, the Agent Context Engine, is included on every Exmergo Enterprise tier: Standard Cloud, Private Managed Cloud, and On-Premise. There is no separate license and no per-agent fee. Ace is in private preview and enterprise-only today, so it is not part of the Pro or Ultra plans.
